BOOT TOURS

The Boosters of Old Town, in cooperation with Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, invite you to take advantage of our package tour program. We will take your guests back to the 1800's and tell them the story of early Old Town San Diego.

Our docents will impart the feeling of "being there" by wearing period attire and recreating historic incidents. They will share their knowledge of all facets of early San Diego history while your guests enjoy the backdrop of this historic site.

Boosters del Viejo San Diego, en cooperación con el Parque Histórico Estatal del Viejo San Diego, los invita para que tomen ventaja de nuestro paquete de excursiones. Llevaremos a nuestros visitantes a través de los 1800 y les contaremos la historia sobre la fundación del antiguo Pueblo de San Diego.

Nuestros expertos auxiliares les harán sentir como si “estuvieran ahí” al ir vestidos como en el periodo de esa época, mientras que al mismo tiempo les irán relatando incidentes históricos. Compartirán con ustedes su conocimiento sobre todas las facetas históricas del San Diego original, mientras que ustedes disfrutan del ambiente histórico del lugar.

Below is a menu of the tour packages that we are offering. We hope that you will find one that piques the interest of your guests and ensures a wonderful visit to historic San Diego. By doing so you will further our efforts to support financially, interpret, and teach the history of Old Town San Diego, where California began.

Package 1: Promenade of history through fashion. Fashions of the 1800's will be presented by docents who will also impart Old Town history through clothing description and anecdotes. Package tour is designed to last one hour, immediately followed by lunch at the El Fandango or Rancho El Nopal Restaurants. Cost is $22.00 per person. For tax purposes, $8.00 of the per person cost may be considered a charitable donation.

Package 2: Guided tour of Old Town. Docent guided tour of prominent Old Town landmarks. $5.00 per person. No lunch included.
